3M HP-156 Oil Absorbent Sheets
Keeping bilges and engine rooms clean and oil free is essential for early detection of leaks and problems and keeping bilge water oil free is good for the environment. 3M Oil Absorbent Sheets can absorb over 1 litre of oil but are not affected by water. Use them for oil and filter changes or leave them under the engine or in the bilge to catch any drips or leaks.
Sheets are 48cm x 43cm and are sold individually.
3M hydrocarbon absorbers™ make up an innovative range of hydrophobic (water repellent) products of high absorption and quality, which do not disintegrate even with large quantities of hydrocarbons, and are very easy to discard.
- Hydrophobic (revokes water).
- Ideal for absorbing hydrocarbons in areas where there may be water.
- Cost effective as they only trap and recover hydrocarbons and not water.
- Can be used indoors and outdoors.
- Scrim on one side increases strength and helps eliminate linting.
- Pads are conveniently sized and may be re-used.
- May be used on a work surface in anticipation of a spill (during oil changes).
