Ankarolina Flat Anchor Line
Quick deploy flat anchor line and reel.
An innovative concept for anchoring, mooring or docking, Ankarolina provides immediate access to a high strength low absorbent flat polyester webbing line with a reinforced loop at the end. Depending on the model, up to 56m of line is stored on a high impact UV resistant plastic reel, a 70 metre version is also available with an aluminium reel.
The included mounting kit and comprehensive fitting instructions allow mounting in various positions onboard. Handle also included.
Although we would not recommend Ankarolina as a primary anchor rode, on a cruising yacht its uses are infinite. A stern or kedge anchor can be quickly deployed, taking a line ashore or to a tree can be done without digging for long lines. On classical yachts and modern designs with no bow roller or ground tackle storage this provides a quick stow away anchoring solution.
Use this with the Kong Chain Gripper to quickly attach to any point on a chain.
