Blue Sea Systems ML-Series Automatic Charge Relay
Blue Sea Systems ML-Series (magnetic latching) automatic charge relay with manual backup.
Continuous rated 500 A ACR automatically combines large battery banks during charging and isolates battery banks when discharging and when starting an engine. The Blue Sea Systems ML-Series ACR features a bi-stable magnetic latch which only requires power while switching and draws less than 40 mA to monitor battery voltage on both battery banks. When either battery voltage reaches the threshold, the batteries are combined. The Start Isolation SI feature can be configured for temporary isolation of service loads from the engine circuit during engine cranking to protect sensitive electronics and the Engine Isolation EI feature can be configured for isolation of two engines while both are running to protect engine electronics and maximize alternator output. The manual backup feature provides redundancy in case of system failure. The included ML-series Remote Control Contura Switch shows system status and can override the automatic control.
Available in 12 V and 24 V versions.
