Digital Yacht NMEA 0183 - USB Adaptor
Easily connect a laptop or on-board computer to NMEA 0183 devices with the bi-directional Digital Yacht USB to NMEA Serial Adaptor cable. Compatible with PC, MAC and Linux computers.
Simple and cost effective, the Digital Yacht ZDIGUSBNMEA contains a small internal electronic circuit board which provides full bi-directional conversion of NMEA 0183 data. Includes Tx and Rx LEDs which give a visual indication of data traffic on the cable. Easily programmed for 4800 baud rate or higher speed 38400 baud rate used by AIS systems. The Digital Yacht NMEA adaptor creates a virtual COM port on the computer which navigation and charting software can use to read NMEA data. Multiple adaptors can be connected if necessary which effectively allow a number of NMEA ports to be created on your computer.
Includes driver CD for use with PCs, MACs and even Linux based systems and a free CD copy of SmarterTrack Lite AIS viewing software - effectively turning your PC into an AIS target display.
