Forespar® LanoCote® Corrosion Protection
LanoCote® is a lanolin based grease, obtained from sheep's wool. Not only natural, non toxic and environmentally friendly, but also extremely effective in preventing and stopping corrosion on all types of metals under all environmental conditions, even submersed in sea water.
LanoCote® displaces water, absorbs corrosion, forms a moisture barrier, penetrates and has high lubricity and is formulated to withstand salt water marine conditions.. A perfect product for hundreds of uses on board and professionals choice for long term corrosion control.
Preventing thread seizure - use on all threaded fasteners to enable dismantling even years later, perfect for rigging screws, shackles, and any other threaded fasteners even when used submersed in salt water such as anchor connectors.
Prevents galvanic corrosion - use between dissimilar metals to avoid corrosion. Perfect for stainless hardware on aluminium masts or booms.
Prevents corrosion - use almost anywhere onboard, a thin film even if not visible provides protection.
Lubricates - use on swivels, snap shackles, both composite and alloy valves, anchor rollers, hinges and any other fittings.
