Pure Dyneema® DM20, for ultimate performance with the minimum elasticity possible, only 0.3% at 10% of breaking load.
When Dyneema SK78 or SK99 are subjected to prolonged high static loads, the fibres can stretch slightly, also known as creep. By using a special heat stretching treatment, creep is eliminated and the breaking load increased by over 10%. This is Dyneema DM20. Elongation at 10% of the breaking load of only 0.30 %, ideal for static loads such as backstays, running backstays, checkstays and inner forestays.
Available in diameters from 5 mm to 10 mm.
Sold by the metre.
