Wichard Speedlink HR Trigger Snap Shackle

Speedlink, the new trigger Snap Shackle from Wichard has been developed by using finite element analysis software. Its shape, cut-outs and ribs achieve an excellent strength/weight ratio ideal for spinnaker operations, sheets or halyards both when racing or cruising. Forged in France with HR High Resistance Martensitic X5CrNiCuNb 16-4 stainless steel for maximum strength.
Speedlink can be easily opened under load with a release fid, or manually thanks to the generous aperture diameter and its optimised design. The shape of the latch reduces inertia and avoids unintentional opening, especially under impact. Outstanding working and breaking loads of up to 8700 kg and modern design lines avoid excessive rope wear and prevent adjacent lines from jamming.
