Sikaflex 298 600ml
Sikaflex®-298 is a self-levelling one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant which cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex®-298 is suitable for bonding deck covering materials made from synthetic resins (except polyethylene and polypropylene), and for bedding-in and sealing of teak plank decking laid on top of the subdeck surface. Suitable substrates include GRP, marine plywood, steel, aluminum sealed with an anti-corrosion coating (epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based) and stainless steel. Recommended for instalaltion of teak decking without screws or other mechanical fasteners.

For optimum results Sikaflex 298 should be used with the following primers:
Sika Primer 290DC - For use on Teak, Mahogany, Oregan Pine, Cork and GRP based on polyester.
Sika Primer 215 - For use with plastics such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS and timber as well as other porous materials.
Sika Primer 210 - For use with many metals such as aluminium and galvanized steel, plastics and paint-primed substrates.
