The KSLP1 combines a brilliant white LED torch with a premium magnesium alloy fire starter. The firestarter is rated for hundreds of strikes and will throw off a shower of intensely hot sparks at over 2500 degrees. (All Tool Logic folding knives except the SL1 Mini feature a toothed section on the back of the blade for use with firestarter alternatively any rough or serrated object can be used such as a rock or knife) The torch body is made of tough anodized aluminum and is waterproof for use in wet environments or for shallow immersion.
The sleeve is made from tough abs plastic. The KSLP1 also fits the SL1, SL3 and SL Pro folding knives.
