Simple solution for adding a baby stay or inner forestay. The Wichard baby stay tang is made of 316L stainless steel, comes in two parts for easy installtion without sacrificing strength and is suited for 6mm - 10mm forestays. A 100mm x 7mm slot needs to be cut into the mast, the two halves are then inserted and bolted together and blind rivets are used to secure it in place. The tang provides two holes for inner forestay and halyard shackle.
