Wichard Babystay / Backstay Ratchet Tensioner
Forged 316L stainless steel body with folding handle and ratchet for quick and effortless adjustment without tools. Available with a pelican hook for use as a babystay tensioner or toggle for backstay installations.
By adding a quick release tensioner the baby stay or inner forestay can be stowed parallel to the mast when not in use allowing quick tacking of the roller furling headsail and less obstructions on the foredeck. When required the stay can be setup in a few seconds. Ideal for storm jibs, solent jibs and inner foresails.
