Wichard Chain Grip
The new Chain Grip from Wichard is forged in France with duplex dtainless dteel for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. The design features a large eye perfect for larger diameter lines.
Simple, single handed operation, just slide the hook over the chain and tension the line. The loop in the untensioned chain locks the hook in position avoiding accidental realease. The design also allows quick realease by simply releasing the tension in the line, the hook slides of the chain.
Take the load of the ground tackle and windlass by attaching a chain hook to the chain and attaching the line to a cleat or strong point. For rougher conditions use a longer elastic line to absorb the energy which helps prevent the anchor from dragging.
