Maestrini Bronze Thru-Hull Scoop Strainer
Quality solid bronze thru-hull strainer manufactured by Maestrini in Italy with large flanged hex nut and BSP thread.
The wedge shaped strainer can be used facing forward for motor vessels or facing aft for sailboats and for static inlets such as generators etc, A screw hole allows the strainer/scoop to be secured to the hull in the desired direction.
Manufactured from solid bronze: CB491K G-CuSn5Zn5Pb5, also know as LG2 Gunmetal.
Founded in the 1960s, Maestrini bronze fittings ensure maximum corrosion resistance in seawater and provide decades of trouble free service.
