Remoran™ Wave 3 Hydrogenerator
Day or night, sunny or cloudy, sailing upwind or downwind, the Wave 3 keeps generating electricity as long as the boat is moving through the water. At 6 knots boat speed, the Wave 3 generates 13 Amps at 12V DC, over 300 Ah per day.
The Remoran Wave 3 is a patented 300 W hydrogenerator with innovative pivoting quick release mounting system and telescopic design for easy installation on most transoms without adaptors. Installation requires drilling only two 8 mm holes for the mounting rail and a hole for the electrical plug. The Wave 3 can easily be removed by simply pulling the built-in release handle and sliding the hydrogenerator of the mounting rail, ideal when not required or when leaving the boat unattended in port or anchorages. The low-profile discreet mounting rail remains installed for quick deployment when needed again.

Available in two models:
- Wave 3GS - The ideal choice for most cruising boats with operating speeds up to 10 knots.
- Wave 3DS - Higher speed version for boat speeds up to 20 knots.
Suitable for both 12 V and 24 V systems as well as most battery types including lead-acid, AGM, Gel and Lithium.
Innovative Design Suitable for Most Boats - The Wave 3 has multiple features for easy installation out of the box. The outboard unit is manufactured from powder coated marine grade aluminium and has a telescopic design which extends from the minimum length of 680 mm to the maximum length of 980 mm. The adjustable angle bracket also allows the unit to be installed on transoms with 0° to 40° aft slope by simply moving the angle adjustment knob. For reverse slope transoms an adaptor might be required.
Quick Release Handle and Rail Mounting System - The Wave 3 has an innovative mounting system. First the mounting rail is installed in the most suitable position on the stern. The Wave 3 then slides onto the rail and locks in position, after connecting the power cable to the waterproof socket, the unit is ready to go. To remove the unit for storage simply pull the release handle, slide the unit off the rail and disconnect the plug. No damage when in port, no obstacle for swimming or using the dinghy and now worries when leaving the boat unattended. An optional extended length rail is also available for even more mounting options.
Generates Power Day or Night - Solar systems can provide a lot of power but only work during the day and we all know their limitations on cloudy days or when in shade. When sailing, shading becomes even more of a problem, difficult to avoid. Wind power can also generate a lot of power with strong winds, but we prefer to sail in light to moderate wind conditions and if we are sailing downwind the apparent wind reduces even further. When sailing on longer passages a hydro generator can provide all the power required. The Wave 3GS starts generating power at less than 3 knots and at 6 knots can produce more than 300 Ah per day, over 450 Ah per day at 8 knots, enough power for autopilots, electronics, fridges and even watermakers.
Bluetooth Smart Charger and App - The Wave 3 includes the 300 W smart charger with Bluetooth.
Free Remoran App available for iOS, Android and also a WebApp.

The Remoran App is available free of charge and although it is not required to use the Wave 3, it can provide a lot of information anywhere onboard. Quickly view all the important information via a bluetooth capable PED or laptop.
