Ronstan Orbit Ball Bearing Block™ - Single Swivel Block with Becket
Ronstan Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ feature the unique orbital version of the Ronstan 2 stage bearing system. Recirculating ball bearings are positioned exclusively in the loaded area of the sheave and a second full contact bearing maintains low friction across the full working load range. Combined with composite reinforced polymer materials, Orbit Blocks™ offer maximum strength to weight ratio for high load and dynamic applications.
Single Swivel Orbit blocks feature a conventional 316 (A4) stainless steel shackle which provides full rotation and ultimate durability.
Built-in Becket - Orbit Single Swivel blocks have low profile moulded check plates optimized for use with the through sheave becket system, ultra low profile and light weight.
Single swivel blocks are recommended for the following applications:
- Mainsheet and Spinnaker sheet systems¹
- Halyard, vang and backstay applications²
- Control lines on larger boats
