Ronstan Orbit Ball Bearing Block™ - Triple Block
Ronstan Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ feature the unique orbital version of the Ronstan 2 stage bearing system. Recirculating ball bearings are positioned exclusively in the loaded area of the sheave and a second full contact bearing maintains low friction across the full working load range. Combined with composite reinforced polymer materials, Orbit Blocks™ offer maximum strength to weight ratio for high load and dynamic applications.
Triple Orbit blocks feature either a conventional 316 (A4) stainless steel shackle which provides full rotation and ultimate durability, or a secure, versatile non-swivel stainless shackle head.
Built-in Becket - Orbit blocks have low profile moulded check plates optimized for use with the through sheave becket system, ultra-low profile and light weight.
Triple blocks are recommended for the following applications:
- Mainsheet systems¹
- Halyard, vang and backstay applications²
- Control lines on larger boats
