THE NEXT GENERATION FAST FIND PLB
Now with Galileo & GPS and MEOSAR Compatibility.
The Fast Find 220 uses advanced technology packed into a simple, lightweight, palm sized unit, smaller than a mobile phone. A personal distress beacon, which provides a direct method of alerting the search and rescue authorities where no other forms of communication are available. Using the 406 MHz search and rescue satellite communication system, COSPAS SARSAT and a built in 50 channel GPS which enables a typical positional accuracy of +/- 62m, the FAST FIND also transmits a 121.5MHz homing signal.
Simple 3 stage manual activation with a powerful 5 watt output for a minimum of 20 hours and features a LED flash light to assist with rescues at night or during limited visibility. Waterproof to 10 metres and able to operate in temperatures as low as -20˚.

Note - the battery life announced by the manufacturer is from the time of its manufacture. PLBs registered under DGMM regulations must have an expiration of at least 4 years. For other registrations the expiration will be approximately 5 years.
