Selden CX Code Zero Furler
The Seldén CX is a furling system for code zero sails.
Designed for quick setup and easy deployment, an essential feature for sails that are not used permanently. The Selden CX furler makes sail handling easy, quickly add power to the boat and keep sailing in light wind conditions.
It consists of a line driver drum and a top halyard swivel. The AT-cable (not included) is integrated in the luff of the sail with thimbles at each end using Seldén cable clamps. The thimbles are easily attached to the drum and halyard swivel with a spring loaded captive snap lock clevis pin, allowing different sails to be used with a single furling system, or stowed below decks without removing the drum and continuous line from the stanchions. A dedicated 2:1 purchase halyard is recommended to obtain the required luff tension and to reduce the load on the halyard sheave. The drum and the furling line can be permanently mounted to the bow and along the stanchions.

High strength duplex stainless steel
All structural parts are made of high strength duplex stainless steel, which has 50% greater breaking load than 316 stainless steel.
Composite parts are glass-fibre/PA for strength and low weight.

- Impact resistant composite cover keeps the line captive and prevents damage to the boat during handling
- Tried and tested line driver with metal teeth provides ample grip on the furling line
- Narrow line drive fitting leads the line into the driver and ensures good grip.
- Snap shackle included for easy handling

The Selden CX Furler includes the top halyard swivel and furling drum with snap shackle.
