Seldén Mast Climbing Step
New design innovative folding mast step from Selden with low profile for minimum windage and well-rounded edges to avoid lines from getting tangled.
Fit two steps at the top of the mast for working at the masthead, a single step for easy access to the main halyard or at intervals along the whole mast for easy mast climbing and inspection, (mast steps should always be used with a safety line and harness).
Manufactured from anodized aluminium, the Selden Mast Climbing Step features a spring-loaded locking system which secures the step in the folded position when not in use, avoiding rattling. The innovative design is easy to unfold by simply pushing upwards on the lower end. The moving parts do not contact the mast and therefore avoid any scratches or damage to the mast surface.
Compatible with all aluminium Seldén mast sections from C137 upwards and suitable for other brands of aluminium yacht masts.
Supplied as a ready-to-fit kit, complete with fasteners, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. Requires three 5 mm holes tapped for M6 fasteners.
