Sunware Fox 220 & 320 Solar Regulators
The FOX-220 and FOX-320 are programmable surface mount charge regulators, which can be used either independently or with the FOX MD1 remote programmable display. The LEDs on the front panel of the regulators indicate the charging state of the battery, status of the consumer connection, whether a charge current is flowing from the solar panels or whether the battery is fully charged. The Multi Display FOX MD1 can be added at any time with a simple plug-in connection. This allows the charging voltage and amps to be displayed, even graphically. The programming function of the FOX MD1 enables you to change and save various parameters. The optimised charge characteristic curve in combination with the hardware PWM control achieves a distinctly faster and gentler charging of the battery; hazardous gassing or overcharging are safely prevented.
The charge controller can be operated in parallel to other charging devices (such as alternators, generators, fuel cells) and is suitable for use with panels from any manufacturer (the no-load voltage of the solar modules must be lower than 50 V).

A consumer load of up to 20A can be connected through the regulator. The adaptive total discharge protection monitors and protects the battery against damaging total discharge, and alternatively the nightlight function can be used. When using the nightlight function, light will be switched on when the panels are providing a charge current (i.e. when it is dark). Ideal for the operation of an orientation light or small night light for the prevention of break-ins.
In addition to the over-and deep discharge protection of the FOX-220, the FOX-320 can also charge 2 separate battery systems.
