Ultra Chain Grab
Polished AISI 316 Stainless steel chain grab for quickly taking the load of the ground tackle. The slot slides over the chain and the line can be taken to a cleat or samson post to avoid stressing the windlass. If a loop of chain is allowed to hang, gravity prevents the chain from unhooking. For rougher conditions use a longer elastic line to absorb the energy which helps prevent the anchor from dragging. The chain grab automatically releases when the tension in the line is released.
