Ultra Marine Stainless Steel Anchor
Polished stainless steel patented design high tech anchor from Ultra Marine.
Hand made in Europe from 316L stainless steel, the Ultra Marine anchor has been designed for simple use yet extremely reliable performance and thanks to the stainless steel construction, is both elegant and requires almost no maintenance. "Drop it, set it, forget it..."
The Ultra Marine anchor has a number of patented features and a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The polished stainless steel construction instantly stands out, but it also offers a technical advantage not available with other materials. The tip features a hollow design which is filled with molten lead concentrating the weight exactly where it is needed and assisting penetration in unfavourable bottom conditions. This design feature is incompatible with the hot dip galvanising process. The shank is also hollow which gives buoyancy and ensures the Ultra Marine hits the seabed right side up and in the “attack” position. The angular tube design shank provides exceptional strength but also ensures the anchor is unstable when laying on its back, forcing instant recovery into the correct position.
Innovative and patented design features:
1. Reinforced Eye
Even under the most extreme load the shank’s reinforced eye will not bend, break or fail.
2. Angular Tube Construction
The anchor cannot lie on its back and recovers instantly to the attack position. The design is extremely strong and also allows compatibility with most bow rollers. Both the unique serial number and the anchor weight are stamped into the shank ensuring your anchor is always identifiable.
3. Hollow Shank
Enables weight to be concentrated in the tip of the anchor.
4. Anti Foul Bar
Avoids chain fouling around the shank especially if the chain has been allowed to accumulate on top of the anchor during deployment. The clever design also provides a continuous anchor geometry, useful for top rollers on certain bow rollers and provides a convenient attachment point for trip lines and security lines. It also is great for handling the anchor if required.
5. Flat Underside
Once you begin to recover the anchor (from a vertical position) from the seabed, the flat base provides a stable platform to pivot the tip and aids release.
6. Side Wing Plates
Ensure the anchor remains buried even during changing wind/tide conditions when the anchor may perform a 180 degree turn.
7. Max Holding Power Base
The concave fluke has the appearance of a shovel and has extreme holding power with a greater surface area than conventional style anchors. The result is higher holding power and an anchor that will not release.
8. Lead Filled Tip
Lead is inserted into the anchor tip, achieving the optimal weight distribution and ensuring the anchor will penetrate unfavourable bottom conditions.
9. Curved Tip with Scratch-Catch Point
The anchor tip is shaped downwards, ensuring a continuous setting even and prevents dragging and provides instant set when anchor moves.

Due to weight and volume this product is not included in our free shipping promotion. The Ultra Anchor will be shipped directly from the manufacturer and the shipping company and shipping times may be different to that indicated during checkout.
