The SmartShunt combines a battery shunt with both Victron VE.Direct and bluetooth connectivity allowing either connection to a Victron GX device or to your phone or tablet. With the free VictronConnect app installed your phone becomes your battery monitor allowing easy monitoring of battery parameters such as state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more. Bulit in alarms can be configured for early detection of problems. The SmartShunt can also be used with other devices such as a Raspberry Pi.
The SmartShunt is a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted.
The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and an additional connector that can be used for either:
- monitoring a second battery
- battery midpoint monitoring
- temperature sensor (ASS000100000 temperature sensor not included)
Available in 500 A, 1000 A and 2000 A models.
