Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150 Series Solar Regulators
MPPT Smart solar regulator from Victron Energy with up to 100 amps output for large installations.
Bluetooth Smart built-in - allows wireless set-up, monitoring and control as well as compatibility with Bluetooth sensing devices such as the Smart Battery Sense.
Available in 70A, 85A and 100A versions with either terminal block connectors or MC4 connectors.
Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) - produces up to 30% more power compared to a PWM controller and up to 10% more power compared to slower MPPT controllers especially during cloudy days and fast changing conditions, when light intensity is changing continuously.
Outstanding conversion efficiency - no cooling fan to reduce output allows maximum efficiency to exceed 98% with full output current up to 40°C
Flexible charge algorithm - a built in rotary switch allows easy selection of the eight pre-programmed charging algorithms. The charge settings are also fully programmable allowing optimum charging for almost any installation.
Extensive electronic protection - fail safe installation and peace of mind when left unattended with over-temperature protection and power derating when temperature is high as well PV short circuit protection, PV reverse polarity protection and PV reverse current protection.
Built in temperature sensor - a simple solution to avoid running a battery temperature sensor. The sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltage for temperature and further protects the battery bank.
Optional Bluetooth battery voltage and temperature sensing - the Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor can be used to communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers.
VE.Direct cable compatible - For a wired data connection to a MPPT control panel, a Color Control GX, other GX products, PC or other devices.
Remote on-off and Programmable relay.
Optional SmartSolar LCD display - simply remove the rubber plug on the cover and plug in the LCD display.
Real-time data display options with Victron Connect - setup, configure and monitor all system parameters on Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, PC & MAC with the free Apps and software.
